Timber blinds
Avoid using water on timber blinds as they can absorb the water and can cause the blind to decay or develop mole spotting. A regulator dusting will go a long way to keep that new blind look.
Tip: dust from top to bottom so the dust does not settle on already cleared slats.
Fabric blinds
A routine dush and hover can go long way in keeping that fresh look. Any patchesor individual stains, you can use a damp sponge with a mild dependent and warm water. Fabric blinds can also be taken to dry cleaners if needs be.
Aluminum blinds
Aluminum blinds can be cleaned with hot sudsy water. You can also remove the blind and soak in a bath or sink if this is easier. Just make sure before re-hanging that the blind is completely dried off.
